Elementary & Secondary Strands Sessions are tailored by grade span, with a dedicated focus in secondary on supporting older readers who are still developing foundational reading skills, alongside comprehension and content-area literacy. Day 1: Foundational Skills Build knowledge and strategies to support decoding and fluency—ensuring students can accurately and automatically read words. Day 2: Language Comprehension Strengthen approaches to vocabulary, background knowledge, and meaning making to support deep understanding of complex texts.
