School Attendance is a critical component of student success. California Education Code 48240 requires all districts with ADA of 1000+ to appoint a Supervisor of Attendance this person must be certified by the County Office of Education biannually.  This training will unpack core components and duties of the Supervisor of Attendance position. Post-COVID legislative updates will be examined and explained.  Participants will gain valuable tools to ensure compliance with Supervisor of Attendance mandates and create systems of strong student attendance.

Father Figures Are Invited - Please join us for the Virtual Father Literacy Project meeting for the project is being held virtually via zoom and will be presented by Steven Bruce, PCOE Early Childhood Specialist and Daniel Mendoza, Site Supervisor. Father’s (father figures) play a critical role in their child’s early literacy development through reading books with their child, engaging in conversation, and sharing stories. PBIS Tier 2 Plus training consists of four days of team training: Days 1 & 2 with the Tier 1 Team and Days 3 & 4 with the Tier 2/Intervention Team.
